So today we will check how you can prepare for Salesforce JavaScript Developer 1 certification Exam. As I have recently passed the exam so I will share the study guide which I followed.

So to pass this exam we need to complete two parts. First Lightning Web Components Superbadge and second multiple-choice exam.
Here we will focus on the exam. First I suggest you check the exam guide. Here you will find many reference links related to Object, Classes, Function. Practice them as much as possible.

This is section-based numbering. We need 65% to pass the exam. And top 3 cover 65% of the exam. So if you focus on the top 3 more and then also spend some time in the last 4 you can easily clear the exam. If you are a beginner in JavaScript then you can spend some time in W3School or any other similar platform to get some hands-on experience. Once you have the basic experience I suggest you focus on JavaScript Docs to get some advanced knowledge. This will also help you in the exam.
There are 2 trail mix links available, check them as well. For Asynchronous Programming, you should focus on Promises and Async and Await functions. For Server side programming part check the node.js basic. You should have some idea about the node base module and how we initiate a server in it. For Testing, you should focus on the general testing term which includes White box and black box testing, console APIs. For Debugging and Error Handling check the debugging options available in javascript. You should know how to use debuggers and log statements for tracking.
Once you complete your theory practice and did some basic exercises I suggest you check Github JS Questions. You can use this to test your theory points. Once you work on the above points and take your exam it will be a cup of tea. Also, remember JS is a case-sensitive language so JS and js are totally different. Now take the Salesforce JavaScript Developer 1 exam will full confidence and I am sure you will do well. All the best and hope for the best. happy Programming 🙂
